2.4 Forearm Lever
Feel the power of leverage!
With this technique we are continuing the use of the leverage we established with the motorcycle grip, and now establishing a fulcrum (pivot point) to pry our client's arm behind their back. I cannot stress enough how important it is that we place weight into our client's shoulder through our elbow/forearm. This downward force into the shoulder 1) Establishes a strong pivot point for us to work off and 2) Causes further internal rotation to our client's shoulder which will further weaken them.
Move slow with this technique and be mindful of your training partner's shoulder mobility.
